"Was told I needed new brakes immediately, although when I took it to Volvo of Santa Barbara they told me I had 8mm left on my front brakes and that I don't need to change them until 2mm. Volvo told me I had 7,500 miles left on my front brakes and 15,000 on my rear. Mekaniks Plus told me other things I needed to do as well that did not need doing. Needless to say I will not be back and this is precisely why mechanics have a bad name, they seem/tend to be disingenuous/unscrupulous."
